text-align: left;"&gt;I started my morning off with a plain Arnold Sandwich Thin toasted and smeared with 1 Laughing Cow Light Cream Cheese wedge.&amp;nbsp; It was super quick, easy, and o-so-yummy!&amp;nbsp; What's even better is that my breakfast was only 4 points+.&amp;nbsp; Woohoo!&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"&gt;Lunch was catered in from Longhorn by a pharmaceutical rep. I &lt;em&gt;THOUGHT &lt;/em&gt;I chose a decently healthy lunch...but much to my surprise it was far from it.&amp;nbsp; I ordered the half strawberry and chicken salad and half potato soup.&amp;nbsp; I didn't bother to calculate my points until after I consumed them (big mistake), I realized I had eaten almost 14 points for lunch.&amp;nbsp; OH MY!!&amp;nbsp; I only receive 26 points+ a day.&amp;nbsp; Therefore I have 8 points+ to last me through dinner.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;My Dinner:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"&gt;﻿According to &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mardi_Gras"&gt;Wikipedia&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;em&gt;Mardi gras&lt;/em&gt; is French for &lt;b&gt;Fat Tuesday&lt;/b&gt;, referring to the practice of the last night of eating richer, fatty foods before the ritual fasting of the Lenten season, which begins on Ash Wednesday.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Wow!!&amp;nbsp; And to think...some people celebrate this day consuming alcohol, partying&amp;nbsp;it up, and&amp;nbsp;trying their hardest to obtain the most beads.&amp;nbsp; We've commercialized this holiday (along with many others)&amp;nbsp;and put our own little spin&amp;nbsp;on it, don't ya think?&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"&gt;I honestly didn't realize &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lent"&gt;Lent&lt;/a&gt; started the day after Fat Tuesday.&amp;nbsp; Being raised&amp;nbsp;in a Baptist denomination church, I&amp;nbsp;don't really remember observing the season of Lent.&amp;nbsp; I do remember learning the basics on&amp;nbsp;Lent while in school, such as&amp;nbsp;it consisting of the 40 days between Ash Wednesday and Easter Sunday and that most people "fast" something in their everyday life.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"&gt;I have always wondered if I could "fast" something for 40 days.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Honestly, it doesn't seem like an extremely long period of time, but I'm sure it's longer than&amp;nbsp;I realize when&amp;nbsp;it's something&amp;nbsp;I&amp;nbsp;do, use, or consume daily.&amp;nbsp; So, here comes my challenge..."&lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;CAN I&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; fast something for 40 days??"&amp;nbsp; Of course I can!!&amp;nbsp; With a little determination,&amp;nbsp;I can do anything&amp;nbsp;I set my mind to!!&amp;nbsp; Now...what would I like to abstain from for the next 40 days?&amp;nbsp; Oh geez!!&amp;nbsp; Decisions, decisions!!&amp;nbsp; I might as well go big or go home with this soooooo......I will "fast" my &lt;strong&gt;FAVORITE&lt;/strong&gt; soft drink, SunDrop.&amp;nbsp; I don't drink near as much SunDrop as I used to, but I do have my days where I just &lt;em&gt;crave&lt;/em&gt; the sweet citrus taste.&amp;nbsp; You may want to pray for those around me =)&amp;nbsp; Just kidding.&amp;nbsp; I'm sure it will be difficult in the beginning; but like anything else,&amp;nbsp;I'll learn to adapt.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; Now, I'm not saying you shouldn't make an extra effort to express your love for someone today.&amp;nbsp; But then again, shouldn't you do this every day?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;You don't necessarily have to present your loved one/significant&amp;nbsp;with some kind of gift, but maybe instead, just a quick note or a nice card with something from the heart.&amp;nbsp; That would mean more to me than a gift, honestly.&amp;nbsp; I think we all get lost in the Valentine's hype and forget that sometimes the little things in life&amp;nbsp;really mean the most.&amp;nbsp; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;With that being said...I can't wait to spend the evening with Kayleigh, Matt, and Matt's family eating dinner and enjoying each other's company.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I &lt;span style="color: red;"&gt;♥&lt;/span&gt; text-align: left;"&gt;I have been alternating between my Chobani yogurts and these fabulous Atkins Shakes.&amp;nbsp; Normally, I am not a huge fan of the meal replacement shakes.&amp;nbsp; I've tried several brands and flavors and they all normally taste like yuck.﻿&amp;nbsp; I was very reluctant to try&amp;nbsp;the shakes&amp;nbsp;a few weeks ago, but a friend of mine recommended them AND I got them at a super price.&amp;nbsp; So I'm not really out anything.&amp;nbsp; But much to my surprise, they are actually good.&amp;nbsp; The shakes are packed with 15g of protein and only 1g of sugar, so that means they keep me full :)&amp;nbsp; And weighing in at only 5 points+ they are a great choice for breakfast on the fly!&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;My Lunch:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"&gt;Lunch was catered in by a pharmaceutical ﻿rep.&amp;nbsp; She brought some yummy sandwiches, wraps, salad, and soup.&amp;nbsp; I had a half of a ham, cheese, and tomato wrap on a sun dried wrap.&amp;nbsp; I had a small cup of tomato basil soup that was soooooo yummy!&amp;nbsp; I'm not exactly sure&amp;nbsp;how many points I consumed for lunch, because we weren't provided any nutritional information, but I would guess no more than&amp;nbsp;7.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;My Dinner:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"&gt;Matt, Kayleigh, and I ate dinner at a local Japanese joint.&amp;nbsp; Kayleigh and I shared the teriyaki shrimp with mushrooms and it was devine!&amp;nbsp; Again, I'm not sure of my points accumulation, put I haven't been too terribly bad today.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"&gt;I haven't been as strict as I should be today, but that's all part of learning the lifestyle of a diet.&amp;nbsp; Now when I was in school this was a BIG day.&amp;nbsp; This was the "beginning of the end".&amp;nbsp; Since Kayleigh is only 5 she hasn't quite caught a case of summer-itis, but I'm sure her day will come.&amp;nbsp; So for now, the 100th day of school just means dressing up for a fun day.&amp;nbsp; The elementary school she attends gave each student 3 options of participation.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"&gt;You could:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"&gt;1. Dress as though you were 100 years old, &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"&gt;2. Create a shirt with 100 items, or &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"&gt;3. Create a shirt with the number 100.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"&gt;As you can see below, we opted for creating a shirt that represented her style oh so well :)&amp;nbsp; Kayleigh is just like me...if it's pink and blings, I must have it!!&amp;nbsp; Her hot pink shirt with silver sequined numbers and a sequined crown fit her personality perfectly.&amp;nbsp; I wish my phone had&amp;nbsp;captured a better picture...either way, she's&amp;nbsp;a cutie in my book :)&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; I try to switch it up between the peach&amp;nbsp;and strawberry 0%.&amp;nbsp; Sam's Club carries a flat of 12 for around $11 and some change.&amp;nbsp; (The flat includes a mixture of peach, strawberry, and blueberry flavors.)&amp;nbsp; That's less than $1&amp;nbsp;a day for breakfast.&amp;nbsp; I used to spend $3-$4 at the fast food places.&amp;nbsp; Now you aren't getting near as much food, but you aren't consuming near the amount of calories either.&amp;nbsp; text-align: left;"&gt;I went shopping today armed with my coupons, $6.75 in Extra Care Bucks from last week, and a gift card&amp;nbsp;holding a balance of $3.65.&amp;nbsp; Before store sales, tax&amp;nbsp;and coupons I have $68.82 in merchandise.&amp;nbsp; Please be advised I did &lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;NOT&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; spend that much money.&amp;nbsp; My grand total after coupons, store sales, ECBs and my gift card&amp;nbsp;today was.........Drum roll please...............$6.83.&amp;nbsp; That's a savings of 90%.&amp;nbsp; Woohoo!&amp;nbsp; It feels great to walk out of the store with all of that merchandise&amp;nbsp;having only paid pennies on the dollar...and I did it morally &amp;amp; legally.  And as an added bonus, I have $10 ECB to spend next week. I'm not positive as to what McAlister's dubbed this particular item, but Kayleigh has created the name&amp;nbsp;"green pizza".&amp;nbsp; I know, I know...green pizza just does not sound appetizing in the slightest.&amp;nbsp; However, you have to remember,&amp;nbsp;she came up with this name a little over 2 years ago, and at that time she was identifying objects by color.&amp;nbsp; Seeing as that&amp;nbsp;typical marinara sauce or "red" sauce is how she identified regular pizza, she saw the pesto as the base for this pizza and&amp;nbsp;then came the name "Green Pizza."&amp;nbsp; While the appetizer from McAlister's was super yummy,&amp;nbsp;I just knew I could recreate the same meal at home for much less...and I was RIGHT!!﻿﻿ &lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; clear: both; text-align: left;"&gt;﻿﻿For this super easy &amp;amp;&amp;nbsp;quick meal or snack&amp;nbsp;you will need: &lt;/div&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; clear: both; text-align: left;"&gt;&lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;1 sandwich wrap/tortilla like those made by &lt;a href="http://www.olemexicanfoods.com/"&gt;Ole Mexican Foods&lt;/a&gt;. I personally use the high fiber/low carb. The good news...I did NOT clean my plate and ate less than 10 tortilla chips.&amp;nbsp; To me, that's an accomplishment!&amp;nbsp; You see, I LOOOOOOOOVE Mexican food and normally there isn't a smidge left.&amp;nbsp; But today there was, so I don't feel that bad about it.&amp;nbsp; However, I do not &lt;em&gt;EVEN&lt;/em&gt; want to try and guesstimate how many WW points+ this meal would be.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="border-bottom: medium none; And to top it off, it's a&amp;nbsp;comfortable 55 degrees outside.&amp;nbsp; Ahhh...it makes me so happy!!!&amp;nbsp; If you are anywhere in my close vicinity, you know it's been a while since we've seen sunshine, or so it seems to me.&amp;nbsp; It was starting to be depressing with all the rain and clouds and blah.&amp;nbsp; I'm not sure how people live in Seattle, WA and enjoy it.&amp;nbsp; I NEED SUNSHINE people!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I didn't realize how nice it was outside today until I returned from my lunch break.&amp;nbsp; I just&amp;nbsp;&lt;em&gt;had&lt;/em&gt; to step outside and catch a glimpse of that bright yellow ball...and decided to take a quick pic.&amp;nbsp; Sunshine just makes me feel better, period.&amp;nbsp; Now, I feel like I can make it through the rest of the day and take my booty to the gym, maybe tackle some of that laundry that got neglected yesterday, and possibly a grocery store trip.&amp;nbsp; Ehh...maybe I shouldn't push it...just kidding&amp;nbsp;:)&amp;nbsp; text-align: left;"&gt;Ever feel like there aren't enough hours in the day?&amp;nbsp; I'm pretty sure if I had 25 hours each day, I could complete an enormous amount of tasks.&amp;nbsp; It's amazing the difference&amp;nbsp;one little hour can/could make.&amp;nbsp; I feel like I have to cram a bazillion things into the&amp;nbsp;small amount&amp;nbsp;of time I have after work for things like dinner, cleaning up, bath time, story time, bed time, working out, laundry, etc.&amp;nbsp; And what I don't complete through the week rolls into the weekend...and to be quite honest, that &lt;em&gt;stinks&lt;/em&gt;!!&amp;nbsp; I don't want to spend my weekends doing chores, especially when Kayleigh is with me.&amp;nbsp; We should be having fun and spending time together.&amp;nbsp; Now I realize her helping me with some of the smaller chores teaches her responsibility and we've been doing this for a while.&amp;nbsp; But we shouldn't be heavy house cleaning on a Saturday when we could be doing other things.&amp;nbsp; I've got to make a schedule for each day and allot a certain amount of time for each chore/activity after my work day has ended.&amp;nbsp; Hopefully, I will can gain a little more control over the second part of my day.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"&gt;Anyone else have a schedule with blocked hours for certain chores?&amp;nbsp; Did. It!! Woohoo! I intended on running yesterday afternoon and I stuck to it. I know this sounds so small, but really, it's huge for me. After working all day and feeling like 5:00PM is nowhere in sight, the last thing I normally want to do is go out of my way to the gym, crawl out of my warm car just to get hot and sweaty from running on a treadmill. But not yesterday...I was excited to go!! (Granted, my muscles are cussing me out today, but that's OK! That means I worked &lt;em&gt;SOMETHING.&lt;/em&gt;)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So I downloaded the &lt;a href="http://www.c25k.com/"&gt;Couch 2 5K&lt;/a&gt; app on my phone and got to it!!&amp;nbsp; &lt;br /&gt;Running for me is such a cleansing activity. Bad day?...bad week?...bad month? Let it go and RUN!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I plan to alternate Wii Zumba on my days off from C25K in hopes of toning some other muscles on this body blob :-) I'm also trying to incorporate my Weight Watchers points/eating back into this lifestyle as well.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I know I have a long road ahead, and realize I will not be skinny next week (oh how I wish it &lt;em&gt;were&lt;/em&gt; that easy). But I plan to blog each day with my accomplishments, my not so accomplishments (I'm not real fond of the word 'failures'), and my every day life. I thought about posting the pictures...but I quickly changed my mind.&amp;nbsp; It's not pretty y'all...not even close.&amp;nbsp; Bleh!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I’m currently at the 140-something mark and&amp;nbsp;would loooooove be see the 120′s again…and I know I can do it.&amp;nbsp; It’s been done before, even after I had my princess.&amp;nbsp; I just need the determination and the will power.&amp;nbsp; Determination isn’t hard, I've already made my mind up…it’s the will power I need because I LOVE yummy foods!&amp;nbsp; Seriously, they are my weakness.&amp;nbsp; End of story.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I started Weight Watchers back in June of 2011 with my mom and did really well.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;But then, like many,&amp;nbsp;I fell off the&amp;nbsp;wagon.&amp;nbsp; I wanted to start a&amp;nbsp;blog this year as a reflection piece of some sort.&amp;nbsp; I don't have a diary or journal but I would like to see my transformations along this crazy thing we call life.&amp;nbsp;
